Am I obsessed?
I really like babies and I plan to start a family young, maybe 16. I spend my money on baby clothes, even if i’m not buying them for anyone particular. When I see a pregnant woman passing me by I am jealous, I’m not a paedophile or anything. I’m great with kids and I babysit a lot. My cousin is due to give birth in august and I think I’ve spent more on items for the baby than she has! So it’s not really a question, but what can I do? Do you think I’m weird or is it ok to love babies as much as I do. I even go on adoption websites as I would like to adopt when i’m older. And I have these dolls that look like real babies and I push them around in a push chair!

I understand wanting to have a child young. I love children myself. I majored in early childhood education and have my associates degree in it. I was like you i loved looking at babies and baby items but I waited anyway because I know that it is important to finish school, have the right guy and be financially stable. I got pregnant while on birth control in college. I finished school before i delivered and I was working. I did not go back to work because I wanted to be the one who spent the day with my child and I know that i wont be able to get these days with her back. I would make sure that the father of the baby has a good job because it sounds like you will probably want to stay at home with your child. I am 21 and we just bought a house after I found out I was pregnant. Money can be tight but I love my daughter and i wouldnt change anything
